Safety Webinar: Struck By, Caught In or Between Training
We've noticed that many roofing accidents fall into the struck by, caught in, or between categories, so we thought we'd kick off the year with training on how to avoid these types of hazards.
Falling objects pose an inherent risk for on-the-job injuries. Roofs, cranes, scaffolds, and other structures can all cause tools, materials, and other objects to fall. Machinery with unguarded moving parts, being pinned between hazards such as a truck and a wall, and other factors can result in crushing and costly injuries for your employees.
Training, safe work practices, and ongoing equipment maintenance and inspection are all necessary to prevent struck-by and caught-in-between incidents.
During this webinar, we will define what a struck-by, caught-in, or caught-between hazard is, review common workplace examples, and identify controls to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of a catastrophic injury.
