Building Code Panel

Join us for a building code update and panel of roofing and building code experts that will address common issues and solutions within the local roofing industry.  Learn about recent and upcoming building code adoptions and changes being implemented by local jurisdictions. 

Program Content

Code Update  (1-3:30 PM)

• 2027 ICC building codes: Roofing related building codes in the new 2027 IBC, 2027 IECC, and 2027 IRC codes that have just been published.
• 2027-2030 ICC code hearings: Potential roofing related building codes likely to be introduced for the 2030 building codes.
• Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code (CWRC): The Colorado Division of Fire Protection and Control will provide details on Colorado’s new mandatory Wildfire Resiliency Code. Followed by information on how to implement it.
• Local Code Changes - Other Colorado State, County, and Municipal code changes including Green Energy codes

Building Code Panel  (3:30-5:00 PM )

We will be asking industry experts, including roofing professionals and building code officials, questions from our membership and will have a fire round the last 20 minutes where you can evaluate different points of view on the same issues.

Reception  (5-7 PM)
