Colorado Roofing Association and Member Companies Unite for Community Impact with Thriving Families Project

Together, we're making a difference!

Denver, CO —  The Colorado Roofing Association (CRA) is proud to announce the completion of a meaningful community initiative: a full roof replacement for the Thriving Families building in Denver. This collaborative effort, which began in December 2024 and was completed in January 2025, brought together the expertise and generosity of several CRA member companies to improve the infrastructure of a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering young families.

Thriving Families, a Denver-based nonprofit, provides essential support to pregnant and parenting teens and young families through stable housing, education, and life-skills programs. Their mission to help young parents build brighter futures now continues under a new roof, thanks to the commitment of CRA and its partners.

“CRA is grateful to have played a part in this project by providing a full roof replacement for the Thriving Families facility,” said Debbie Hathorne, CRA Executive Director. “This effort exemplifies the power of partnership and the impact we can make when we work together for the good of our community.”

Special thanks to the member companies who generously contributed to this project:

  • Academy Roofing, Inc.

  • Arapahoe Roofing & Sheetmetal, Inc.
